Dear ACE Family,

I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well during this time of uncertainty and stress due to the coronavirus. I want to thank you for your patience while we have been navigating the next steps for ACE Leon classes during this time.

My greatest concern is for the safety of our students and staff and their families. My next concern is for our students to have the opportunity to continue to make progress in their studies. We feel we have a solid plan going forward to help accomplish both of these goals. However, I ask that you, please be flexible because we know things can change daily.

We will begin instruction next week through a variety of online methods. Teachers will start contacting all of their students at the first of the week with a plan. If your phone number and or email has changed since you registered, you need to update it immediately with the school by emailing it to [email protected] or calling 850-717-2020.

Here is what we know right now:

  • Our GED Testing center will reopen March 30. This is a top priority, so students who are close to graduating can do so. Go to www.ged.com to schedule a time.
  • ESOL and GED® students who are currently online can continue to work online with their teachers.
  • Co-enrolled, adult high school and GED students who have access to Plato online can also continue to work through their lessons.
  • GED® and ESOL students who are not online will be contacted with instructions on how they can work on their classes remotely.

We look forward to the time we can resume our regular school schedule. In the meantime, we will continue to communicate new information through our website and social media.

Sincerely,

Principal Regina Browning
